How to Enroll
The Palisades Charter Schools Complex provides for the free, nonsectarian, public education of students in Kindergarten through Grade 8. Palisades Charter Schools, as neighborhood schools, give first priority in admission to students who live in its attendance area in the Pacific Palisades community of Los Angeles.
If you live within the boundaries of Canyon Charter Elementary School, please complete the enrollment packet (will be provided in spring 2021).

Please join us for a virtual tour of Canyon on Tuesday, February 23rd at 9am.
Register for the tour HERE and you will be sent a Zoom link for the meeting.
New Family Orientation
All families new to Canyon are required to attend a mandatory New Family Orientation. It is recommended to bring any caregivers who will also be involved in your child’s schooling. The date of our New Family Orientation will be determined in the fall.
The Palisades Complex Schools also provide for the education of non-neighborhood students who wish to attend based on the District’s Desegregation or Integration policy*. This is done through a lottery process. The lottery for the 2021-22 school year will be held online on February 19, 2021.
The application deadline for the Unified Enrollment lottery process began on October 1, 2020 and the application window closed on November 13, 2020. For more information, please visit: https://goto.lausd.net/
Results of the lottery will be posted online after February 19, 2021. You will need your student application number to view your place in the lottery list. You can view the results by clicking here to look up your student application number. Your application number can be found on the letter you received from Unified Enrollment.
*If the number of students who wish to attend a Palisades Charter Complex School exceeds the school’s capacity or the capacity of students that can be accommodated at any grade level, then the admission of new students is determined by a public random drawing [Education Code 47605(d)(2)(B)]. The random drawing for determining admission priority shall take into account the admission and enrollment priorities outlined in Canyon's charter.
